Charlie accompanied his parents to their native Britain, where he and his mother fished in the Thames, but failed to catch anything.
A few days later. His appereance softens Ben, who lowers his gun and is attacked by Desmond. Afterwards, Charlie accompanies his mother to the hospital where his father was taken after Ben shot him. Charlie and Penny wait for Desmond until a nurse comes and tells Penny that she can visit her husband. Penny goes to see Desmond, leaving Charlie in the waiting room.
2021[]
Acting as the lawyer of Summer St. Clair, Jonathan Harker was testifying against Charlie, now 17, because he was being convicted of first-degree murder of Summer's parents, and was up for life in prison. His jacket was found at the crime scene and was used as evidence to convict him. ("...And Justice for All") ("Monster") Summer, however, knew that Charlie was innocent. She visited him in prison after being coerced to let him go by her publicist Iris and gave him a copy of her book to give him the truth. All charges were later dropped and Charlie was freed. ("Monster") Charlie later showed up outside the funeral for Jonathan's son Lucas and Jonathan chased him off, blaming him for his son's death. ("...And Justice for All")
