Elizabeth Moxley or Beth is the lover of Dominic and wife of Tom Moxley.

History

Beth met Dominic at a bar, where the two share a drink, unaware that he is a recovering alcoholic. Sometime later, Dominic takes Beth to dinner, where she confesses that she is married. The two agree to remain friends but the pair's bond escalates into an affair. Dominic tells Beth that he has tickets for a cruise ship and wants her to end her marriage and run away with him, presenting her with a ring.

The conversation is overheard by Beth's abusive husband, Tom, who attacks Dominic. As Tom turns his attentions to Beth, Dominic is able to protect her and tackle Tom through a glass table. The shards of glass fatally wound Tom, who bleeds out as Dominic panics and tries to convince Beth that they need to escape. Horrified, Beth tells Dominic that they can't spend the rest of their lives looking behind their backs and rejects both the ring and cruise invitation. Panicking and dejected, Dominic takes the cruise alone to escape the police. ("The Twelfth Step")
